Yaisu Technology's Magnetic Flux Leakage Detector: The Cutting-edge Tech Guardian for Industrial Pipeline Safety

Yaisu Technology's Magnetic Flux Leakage Detector-

The Cutting-edge Tech Guardian for Industrial Pipeline Safety

In the vast network of industrial production, facilities such as oil and gas pipelines and storage tanks function like arteries,

transporting energy and materials, with their safe and stable operation serving as the cornerstone of industrial system functionality.

However, over prolonged use, defects like corrosion and cracks act as hidden "health assassins," constantly threatening the safety

of these critical facilities. As one of the core technologies in the field of non-destructive testing, flux leakage detection technology

stands out for its efficient and precise inspection capabilities, becoming a vital means of safeguarding industrial facility safety.

Among these, YAISU TECH's flux leakage detector is a standout performer.

The principle of magnetic flux leakage detection technology is based on the phenomenon of electromagnetic induction. When the

detector establishes a closed magnetic circuit by magnetizing the pipe wall, any defects such as corrosion or cracks in the wall will

cause distortion of the magnetic flux lines, generating a leakage magnetic field. Yaisu Technology's magnetic flux leakage detector

is equipped with a high-precision Hall sensor array, enabling precise capture of these leakage magnetic field signals. Through

advanced data processing systems, it achieves quantitative analysis of defects, accurately determining their location, size, and

severity. Compared to traditional detection technologies, magnetic flux leakage detection requires lower cleanliness standards

for pipelines and eliminates the need for complex pre-processing. It enables online inspection of oil and gas pipelines, significantly

improving detection efficiency and reducing costs.

Yaisu Technology's magnetic flux leakage detector has achieved multiple breakthroughs at the technical level. In terms of the

magnetization mechanism, it employs permanent magnets or electromagnetic coils to saturate magnetize the pipe wall, ensuring

a magnetic flux density ≥1.8T, effectively magnetizing pipe walls of varying thicknesses and guaranteeing detection accuracy.

Its unique quadruple-detector circumferential array design, combined with an electric telescopic rod for adaptive position adjustment,

enables full circumferential detection of pipelines without blind spots. The sensing system is equipped with an 18-array Hall probe

setup, featuring a circumferential spacing ≤8mm and an axial sampling interval of just 2mm, capable of precisely capturing subtle

magnetic flux leakage signals to avoid missing any potential defects. Additionally, the detector incorporates advanced anti-lift-off

technology, ensuring a sensor-to-pipe wall distance ≤2mm and a signal attenuation rate <25%/mm, effectively preventing signal

distortion caused by variations in sensor-to-wall distance.

In terms of driving and safety performance, Yaisu Technology's magnetic flux leakage detector also excels. It employs a

high-pressure medium driving method powered by 0.45MPa water pressure, replacing the traditional fragile plunger structure.

This not only enhances driving stability but also reduces equipment maintenance costs. The dual-redundant braking system and

real-time health monitoring module provide double protection for the detector's operation. The real-time health monitoring module

continuously tracks the equipment's operational status and immediately issues alerts upon detecting anomalies, ensuring the safety

and reliability of the detection process.

The application of magnetic flux leakage detection technology in the industrial field has a long history. As early as the late 1980s,

the United States and Europe pioneered its use in tank bottom inspections and introduced related detection prototypes. After

decades of development, this technology has been widely applied in areas such as subsea pipelines, long-distance oil and gas

pipelines, and tank bottom plates.
